We are pleased to share a monument we recently created for the Swan River First Nation.
The 4 ft tall eagle is sculpted by hand from India Red granite, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. The eagle is a sacred symbol of respect, honour, strength, courage, and wisdom, which gives significant meaning behind this monument.
The plynth includes inscription that reads:
In memory of all Swan River First Nation Indian Residential School survivors, “warriors” and those who never made it home.
Thank you to the Swan River First Nation for trusting us to help tell their important story. We are honoured to do so.
