Edmonton Granite Memorials was acquired by Paul & Ashley Crosty in April 2021. They are honoured to be taking the helm and leading such an amazing company that has served the Edmonton and Alberta communities for over 60 years, as an industry leader in customer service and quality. Paul, along with his wife Ashley, and daughters Quinn & Margot, know the importance of family and will continue to serve the community with humility and compassion.
We have an extensive showroom that has a large indoor and outdoor display of monuments ranging in size, colour, and shape. Our professional and compassionate sales staff will assist and help you create a monument to commemorate your loved one. Our on-site manufacturing plant provides you, the customer, with every assurance that your monument will be professionally manufactured at every stage of production. From our computer-generated drawings to the final installation by our experienced installation crew.

Our Team
Paul Crosty, Owner / President
Raised in Edmonton, Paul is proud to serve the community as the President and Owner of Edmonton Granite Memorials. Along with his co-owner and wife, Ashley Crosty, Paul will continue to provide the exceptional customer service and quality Edmonton Granite Memorials has offered its customers for over 60 years.
Paul takes great pleasure in working with people and listening to what they have to say to fully understand their needs and goals. He has a passion for helping others and seeing all projects through to completion to ensure the end result exceeds expectations.
Paul and his wife Ashley have a beautiful little girl, Quinn, and in January of 2022, their second daughter Margot was born. When he isn’t walking through the river valley with his family, or spending time with his daughters in one of the many parks Edmonton has to offer, you’ll find him playing hockey or the occasional round of golf.
Ashley Crosty, Owner / Memorial Consultant
Prior to acquiring Edmonton Granite Memorials, Ashley spent the past 15 years working as a nurse within the Stollery Pediatric Oncology program – coordinating care for children with cancer. She brings a passion for helping others and takes pride in assisting families to create a memorial that deeply honours their loved one’s unique and special life.
In her downtime, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, and their daughters, Quinn and Margot. She loves meeting up with family and friends for walks to the local markets, restaurants, and coffee shops, and settling down to read a good mystery at the end of the day.
Estella Mah, Controller
Estella joined Edmonton Granite Memorials on April 11, 2022, as a Controller of the company. Since then, she has been enjoying her role immensely. As a CPA, CMA, and MBA, her goal is to help with Strategic business decisions, utilizing her past experience, education, business, and financial acumen. She contributes to her daily fulfillment of life with the provision of exceptional values and services, seeing everyone as a stakeholder in the company. She carries her mission with life-long learning, to embrace herself with growth and challenges along the way.
In her spare time, she has a variety of interests like reading, trail hiking, as well as yoga. Estella has also been a Toastmaster for seven years. Estella earned Distinguished Toastmaster and Toastmaster of the Year in Division C in 2020. Her continuous growth journey involves serving the club, as well as District 99 Toastmasters. Estella enjoys time with family and sitting around with a cup of tea in hand and chatting. Her favorite quote for encouragement is “Wisdom begins in wonder”.
Jeremy McConville, Operations Manager
Jeremy started with Edmonton Granite Memorials in 2001, and trusts that providing quality memorials is a meaningful and rewarding occupation. He lives on the south side of Edmonton with his wife, Nicole, and his two daughters, June and Frances. Jeremy enjoys ice carving.
Carter McFeely, Operations Manager
Carter has worked for 7 years making monuments, which started as a summer job during high school working at his grandparent’s business. After starting as Operations Manager in 2023, Carter has continued to uphold the quality standard that Edmonton Granite Memorials is known for. Prior to this, Carter completed his Bachelor of Education from the University of Alberta in 2021 and worked at a funeral home full-time in 2022. Carter has always had a passion for serving those who are grieving and looks forward to using his previous experience to help families create a meaningful memorial for their loved ones.
Carmen McFeely, Memorial Consultant
Carmen is passionate about helping others and loves working with families to create something special for their loved ones.
In her time off, Carmen enjoys spending time with her husband Carter and Winnie the cat. She loves going for bike rides in the river valley, trying new brunch places, and making crafts for her family and friends with her Cricut machine.
Taryn Szarka, Designer / Memorial Consultant
Taryn is one of the newest additions to the Edmonton Granite Memorials team. She takes great pride in every aspect of the collaboration process. From talking with families to designing the monument. She strives to create the perfect monument for every family and their loved ones.
In her free time, Taryn enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Ashlyn Mackey, Memorial Consultant
Ashlyn is a new member to the Edmonton Granite Memorials team. Prior to joining, she completed her Bachelor of Science at Mount Royal University where she made the President’s Honour Roll each year. Not afraid to work hard to get a job done right, she hopes to serve her community at EGM by helping families honour their loved ones.
She was born in Calgary, AB and raised in Ponoka, AB. In her spare time, you can find Ashlyn on the ski slopes or with her nose in a book.
Krystal Hartwell, Administrative Assistant
As an administrative assistant at Edmonton Granite Memorials, Krystal brings a unique blend of organizational skills and a compassionate understanding of the human experience, shaped by her background in mental health.
In her free time, Krystal enjoys being with her family, who love going on hikes and hanging out at the beach. They also cherish simply being together, finding joy in those moments of doing nothing as long as they’re with friends and family.
Gail Cannon, Designer
Gail has been with Edmonton Granite Memorials for over 20 years. She is married and has two boys and a girl, a Miniature Pincher named Weezie. In her spare time, she likes to quilt and go on road trips to find that special piece of fabric.
She also enjoys gardening and loves spending time with her kids and their dogs.
Theresa Beynon, Designer
Theresa has been working for Edmonton Granite Memorials since July 2021. With over 20 years of design experience, she is happy to integrate her style into the company. She likes to spend her free time with her family.
Lisa Doucet, Designer
Lisa brings 40 years of graphic design experience to Edmonton Granite Memorials and is honored to work with families memorializing their loved ones. She finds this work the most gratifying of her design career.
Carla Severyn, Lead Sandblaster
Carla has an eye for detail and enjoys creating beautiful monuments for our customers. She started with Edmonton Granite Memorials as a layout artist and her acute eye and patience has allowed her to excel as a sandblaster.
Paul Sproule, Installer & Labourer
Hard to believe I am entering my 46th year in this industry . Have seen a lot of good people come and go and have made many lasting relationships.
I have had the honour of training and mentoring many fine young people, and have seen many changes and advances in this industry .
Looking forward to see some new faces and growth in the future with this company and the opportunity to train and mentor some new people .
It has always been my pleasure to serve our customers and help then with the closure they require for their loved ones .
Alan Harvey, Installer & Labourer
Al brings leadership, patience, and excellent problem solving abilities to the operations team. He is always willing to help a new employee and goes the extra mile for the customer. His easy going personality and attention to detail is praised by customers and colleagues alike. He’s happy to talk hockey with anyone interested.
Vicky Fildes, Sandblaster & Stenciler
Victoria relocated from England in 2006 with her family. She settled into working labourous jobs, gaining knowledge and experience in numerous fields. She comes to us eager to learn more and widen her scope and expertise. In her spare time, she enjoys finding the best place for a charcuterie board, trying new craft beer, mowing her lawn & laughing with her friends.
Caitlin (Caitie) Fenez, Stenciler
Caitie joined the company last year and has found a sense of peace and pride in helping to manufacture monuments for those who have lost loved ones. She works hard and is passionate about her work, yet still finds ways to bring laughter and fun into the workplace with her jovial energy and personality. Married in 2022, Caitie and her husband Michael love spending time with their three year old daughter Myra; together they enjoy going for walks in the rivervalley, camping and fishing in the beautiful Alberta wilderness and spending quality time with family and friends.
